For the collection of the STRAAT Museum Guido made this 3,5 by 5,5 meter painting on canvas. The painting was done live in the museum, unfortunately the museum was closed due to the pandemic. Since then, the work has been on permanent display.
“What do we really see when we look at an image? What do we do when we read a text? What is the difference between looking and reading? These questions are keeping Guido quite busy in his work as an artist. On top of that, statements like: “You See More When You Read More” or “You only see as much as you know” are applicable on this work too.”
